Universities
The universities in Baden Württemberg and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology combine teaching and research from basic research to application orientated research, right up to technology and knowledge transfer. They differentiate themselves from all other types of universities of applied sciences and research facilities in that they train new academic talent in research and training. University students receive, on the basis of scientific methods, all they need for their future professional careers and, with this, the ability to develop new and innovative solutions independently. Study courses, which have largely been restructured in line with the bachelor and master structure and international standards, create the ideal conditions for a timely and well-founded education. The universities in Baden Württemberg prepare their students, with excellent study opportunities, for successful careers in industry. This secures their academic excellency and enables them to develop this further.
