 FP6 (2002-2006) Priority 7 - "Citizens and Governance in a Knowledge-based Society"
Priority 7 has been implemented through two calls for proposals. The first call for proposals containing two deadlines was launched in 2003. The second Call was launched at the end of 2004 and closed in April 2005.

FP5 (1998-2002) Key Action "Improving the Socio-economic Knowledge Base"
The Key Action "Improving the Socio-economic Knowledge Base" was implemented through three calls for proposals and a total of 185 research projects and thematic networks and 100 accompanying measures have been selected for funding.

FP4 (1994-1998) Targeted Socio-economic Research (TSER)
The Targeted Socio-economic Research Programme - TSER Programme (1994-1998) was implemented through three calls for proposals and a total of 162 projects have been selected for funding.The main objective of this very first European social sciences programme was to elucidate decision-making at decentralized, national or Community level and lay the foundation for the sustainable development of Europe's economies, enabling them to withstand international competition and create jobs.
