Anne Asserson, Senior Excecutive Officer, Research Documentation Unit, University of Bergen, Norway

Anne Asserson holds a master degree in Information Science from University of Bergen and has worked with the Unit since 1992. She has participated in substantial parts of CRIS developmental work, locally and nationally and with special assignments related to information structure and user support. Presently, Anne Asserson is chairwoman of the Steering Group of the national CRIS system, FORSKDOK. Also, Anne Asserson has contributed to European developmental activities in the CRIS field , e.g. in a CORDIS funded European-wide project on "Best Practice" and she is currently participating in the on-going expansion of the de facto CRIS documentation standard, CERIF.

Johanne Revheim, Senior Computing Officer, Research Documentation Unit, University of Bergen, Norway Johanne Revheim is presently working on her master thesis in Computer Science at the Department of Informatics at the University of Bergen. She has been working with the Unit since 1995. Johanne Revheim has developed the web applications for the Bergen CRIS system.


Demonstration of Bergen University developmental activities in the field of web-based functionalities in their CRIS system.

In our presentation of the Bergen University CRIS system we will focus on the following topics:

  • Result documentation
  • Use of classification
  • User friendly and flexible
  • Publication lists with different sorting possibilities and option to choose different bibliographical reference styles
