Reference Scenarii
The four reference scenarii are the driving force of the European Awareness Scenario Workshop as they describe different ways of housing, everyday living, and problem solving with regard to energy and water supply, waste water and solid waste management. There are two questions underlying the scenarii:
- Who is responsible for solving the environmental problems? The Local Authority, individual household or a combination of both?
- How should technology be used in solving the problems? Should we look to people or technology for a solution of environmental problems?
