The Commission adopted the Work Programme for the years 2001 - 2002 and the 1st Call for proposals for the eContent programme.

  • Part 1: Demonstration projects - fixed deadline: 15 June 2001
  • Part 2: Definition phase projects and Accompanying measures - continuous submission scheme up to 16 December 2002

Before developing a full proposal, prospective proposers may make use of the (optional) pre-proposal check service by submitting an outline description of no more than three pages detailing:

  • type of action (demonstration project, definition-phase project, accompanying measure)
  • target action line(s) and problem area(s)
  • rationale and related market/user aspects
  • approach and expected results
  • planned effort (person -months) and duration
  • intended consortium (either participants names or profiles)

Pre-proposals are welcome in the following formats: Text, Word, RTF, PDF and HTML files and can be sent by e-mail to (email removed) until four weeks before the calls closing date.
