PROJECTS

The eContent programme has not yet signed contracts with projects supporting its actions towards access to capital for the digital content industries. The second call for proposals, which closed 1 February 2002, was the first milestone towards establishing a portfolio of actions.

Several good proposals were submitted in response to the call, and by the summer 2002 it is expected that the first projects will embark on their critical missions to support access to capital for digital content ventures on global networks.
