The Exhibition presents leading-edge technologies and products stemming from work in Esprit, and demonstrations of the outcome and potential of Esprit's take-up and technology transfer actions. The Exhibition includes a cybercafé, showcases the Web for Schools and related initiatives, and incorporates the demonstrations mounted by the European IT Prize Award finalists.

The topics covered include medical and mobile applications; new interfaces; simulation in engineering; Internet security; transport and geographic information systems; education and culture; quality management; management and control systems; 3D vision; speech and sound systems; and entertainment and broadcasting applications.
