The IiM Conference has been an annual event since 1985. Its main aim is to disseminate information and encourage the exploitation of results from the R&D carried out in the Esprit domain of IiM. The aim of the conference is to disseminate information and encourage exploitation of results from research and technological development in IiM. Opportunities arising from R&D results and experiences are aimed at a wide audience. In addition, the conference aims to promote increased synergies among those currently participating in Esprit and to lower the barriers to Esprit participation for potential new comers, in particular, SMEs.
The conference addresses European manufacturing, engineering and management information managers, manufacturing quality and process engineers, as well as IT suppliers/vendors, academic researchers, technology transfer centres and industrial associations.
Prosoma Esprit is a European Commission service to support the transfer of results of Esprit projects to market. The service provides an infrastructure for presentation and dissemination of results, and aims at:
The service is free of charge for owners of IPR developed under ESPRIT and presents market-oriented material from participating contractors including films, images, animation, interviews and demonstrations. There are two main communication channels: multimedia CD-ROMs and the Internet. Prosoma is for IPR owners as well as for companies not participating in Esprit but looking for innovation and new technology to increase their competitiveness.
