The field of networking is a very active one at present, and with the advent of the Information Society, is now the indispensable ingredient in any new development in Electronic Commerce. This session will give a broad picture of recent achievements, with the various presentations exploring the three facets of networking and connectivity that make innovations in Electronic Commerce possible: developments in networking technology, innovative marketing practices, and advanced communications testbeds.
