Prosperity both determines and depends upon modernity. Communication gap

SHIVA - destruction or renewal?
Shiva, the Hindu goddess of destruction and regeneration, typifies the monsoon. The summer wind brings rain from the Indian Ocean, giving life to the parched earth - but potentially destroying crops and settlements in its torrential downpour. The SHIVA study aims to understand and predict the annual frenzy of flood or fortune.
