TriCo Trieste 2003 International Brokerage Event on Information & Communication Technologies, to be held in AREA Science Park on July 15, 2003, is organised in the frame of the TriCo Initiative, the trilateral-co-operation initiative set up by AREA Science Park of Trieste, the leading multi-sector science & technology park in Italy, BIT of Vienna, the Austrian national agency for the promotion of international research and technology co-operation, and the Joef Stefan Institut of Ljubljana, the main scientific and applied research centre in Slovenia.
TriCo Initiative's aim is to foster scientific and industrial co-operation and valorise respective territorial potential of the involved countries. ,The event is focused on ICT development and the relevant support measures offered by the new European Research Framework Programme (FP6).
The main focus will be on some specific topics of the IST Programme 2° call Key Actions of FP6, namely: ,- open development platforms for software and services; ,- cognitive systems; ,- application and services for the mobile user and worker.
Specific interventions will deal with Researcher Mobility and Universities co-operation Initiatives.
Target participants are: industrial and service companies; R&D centres and institutions, universities and professionals working in the sector.
The event foresees a session dedicated to R&D Projects Proposals Presentations followed by bilateral meetings, pre-arranged on the basis of the On-Line Project Proposals Catalogue which will be constantly updated and visible at the TriCo Event Official web page http://www.area.trieste.it/trico2003(opens in new window).
The catalogue printed version will be distributed when registering.,Participants can download or fill in on-line the Registration, Project Description and Bilateral Request forms.All TriCo partners share their common partnership in the Innovation Relay Centres Network.,
