International Conference on Parallelism in Architecture, Environment and Computing Techniques (PACT)

PACT 2016 is organized by The University of East London (UEL), in collaboration with the International Experts for Research Enrichment and Knowledge Exchange (IEREK) institution. The conference represents an important forum for computational and digital architecture research that reconciles parallelism in different architectural and computing discourses and provokes discussion in state-of-the-art themes and contemporary topics such as high-performance computing, big data, advanced fabrication technologies and tectonics, but also theory and critical interpretation.
The conference theme of “parallelity” also aims to explore and celebrates the diversity and complexity of the computational discourse. Multiple parallels yet interacting streams of research which are shaping the contemporary debate will be discussed in six sessions. Every session will be introduced with a keynote lecture by an internationally recognized speaker. The conference aims to generate debate and knowledge exchange between these articulated, multiple discourses and ideas.
