Integration Week of the Wi-5 Project
This is a 3-year H2020 project which runs from the beginning of 2015 till the end of 2017. The aim of the project is to look for solutions for improving Wi-Fi performance, by a better coordination between Access Points.

The overall approach of the Wi-5 project is best summarised as follows:

- Define the use cases, the requirements, and system architecture for a mature Wi-Fi networking solution to warrant the quality of the solution.
- Consider which subsystems and protocols are needed and readily available and identify which parts of the solution are missing and must be developed these
- Build the complete solution for the Wi-Fi network and test and validate the integrated system in an operational network.
- Discuss the technical concepts, considerations and choices with technical experts and potential users to work toward a solution that is optimised from the perspective of the technology and the market.
