ICT 2008 conference and exhibition, Lyon, France
The biennial ICT event, which will be hosted by the French Presidency of the European Union, is the most important forum for discussing research and public policy in information and communication technologies at European level. The event brings together researchers and innovators, as well as policy and business decision makers working in the field of digital technologies.
This year, the focus will be on:
- European Union priorities in ICT research for over €2 billion of funding available in 2009-2010;
- the major current technological trends which impact upon strategic research planning;
- public research policies to stimulate research and innovation.
