Call for tenders for the assessment of Senior Watch 2006
The European Commission's Information Society and Media DG has published a call for tenders for the assessment of the senior market for information and communication technologies (ICT) - Senior Watch 2006 - progress and developments. The study is aimed at analysing the evolution of the market for assistive technologies since 2002; identifying key dynamics and evolutions intervened of the 'senior market' for ICT for the all EU25 area; and measuring user perceptions of suitability for old age of ICT products. The study will perform a new set of measurements on these key evolutions during 2006/2007 and compare results with previous assessments. It will use existing indicators and update information on user needs and market potential for IST assistive technologies.
