Support for defining socio-economic aspects of Fifth Framework Programme
The European Commission, DG V, has published an invitation to tender concerning technical support for defining and evaluating the socio-economic aspects of the EU's forthcoming Fifth RTD Framework Programme. In order to introduce the social dimension into the different research priorities, it is necessary to develop concrete sets of themes. The Commission is therefore seeking external expertise to assist in specifying the aims as well as the content of these research subjects. The contractor will be required to carry out: - Quantitative and qualitative evaluations in order to obtain a reference framework for the introduction of the social dimension into the various research activities; - Bibliographical analyses and collection of the information required for defining technical support in the different fields; - Defining the optimum support framework for an operation and evaluation policy for the results of research activities in fields which directly concern DG V's policies. The time required to complete this contract will amount to 100 days per year for a maximum of three years.
