The European Commission, DG XXII, has published a call for proposals for projects under Action E.I of the Youth for Europe programme. The aim of this action is to contribute to the objectives of the programme by providing support for information activities for young people at a European level. The Commission will, therefore, support initiatives which aim to increase awareness among people working in the field of youth information as to the possibilities for cooperation between participating countries, and to increase cooperation for the dissemination of youth information. Three types of project proposals may be submitted: visits, seminars and practical training experiences. Projects should provide participants with: - The possibility to develop concrete cooperation strategies for the production and/or dissemination of youth information material; - A better understanding of youth information practice and structures in participating countries; - An insight into specific approaches to youth information provision; - An opportunity to explore the transferability of examples of good practice; - An opportunity to identify partners with a view to creating multilateral youth information networks; - The capacity to develop cooperation through informal training initiatives in the field of youth information.
