Information on ACTS activities - ACTS97 CD-ROM
The InfoWin project of the Community's Advanced Communications Technologies and Services (ACTS) programme has recently published a CD-ROM containing the full set of ACTS97 publications. The CD-ROM offers easy access to the full set of six ACTS97 publications, as well as multimedia presentations of ACTS and the National hosts. The ACTS97 family of publications presents a range of information on ACTS, aimed at different audiences. These include a general overview of the ACTS programme, technical descriptions of the work being funded, and detailed summaries of individual projects and their practical experiments. New features on the 1997 edition of the CD-ROM include presentations of the concertation chain groups and domains, presentations from the "21st Century: The Communications Age" conference held in June 1997, and multimedia presentations of individual projects. Also a new feature is the use of regional indexing to facilitate searching for projects by region.
