Eco-management and Audit Scheme - Support services
The European Commission, DG XI, has published an invitation to tender for the supply of support services for the Community Eco-management and Audit Scheme (EMAS). EMAS is the EU's scheme for the promotion of continuous improvement of industry's environmental performance through environmental management systems. The contract is divided into two lots: - Lot 1: Involving the management and operation of the EMAS Help Desk, responding to enquiries from the public and making information available to interested parties as requested by the Commission. - Lot 2: Involving the operation and maintenance of an EMAS database service to coordinate the collection of data concerning EMAS registered sites and accredited environmental verifiers, maintain the data and provide the Commission services with regularly updated reports on the database.
