Provision of statistical services
The Statistical Office of the European Communities (EUROSTAT), has published an invitation to tender for the provision of statistical services related to statistical research, research and development statistics, innovation statistics, methods and tools for the collection, processing and analysis of statistical data, statistical register methodology and coordination of statistical confidentiality. The activities must be carried out in liaison with national statistical services and other national administrations in the Member States. The service providers should cover the following general tasks, taking into account current methods and the equipment at EUROSTAT: - The development and definition of new statistical systems such as variables to be collected and their corresponding methodology; - The collection, storage, processing, checking and analysis of data; - The preparation of manuals, notes, work documents and summary reports. The contract is divided into 14 lots: - Lot 1: statistical methodology; - Lot 2: estimation of variance; - Lot 3: research in seasonal adjustment; - Lot 4: registers; - Lot 5: statistical confidentiality; - Lot 6: analytical reports for the third European report on S&T indicators (REIST 3); - Lot 7: cognitive aspects of confidentiality; - Lot 8: organization of scientific seminars; - Lot 9: research and development statistics; - Lot 10: innovation statistics; - Lot 11: research and development statistics - part 2; - Lot 12: innovation statistics - part 2; - Lot 13: data analysis centre, scientific relations and seminars; - Lot 14: statistical research. Companies may tender for one, more or all lots, however tenders for parts of lots are not permitted.
