The European Commission, DG III, has published an invitation to tender for a study on the competitiveness of the European woodworking industries. This study will examine the factors, and their underlying causes, which affect the competitiveness of European industries in relation to worldwide competition from the following countries: Canada, Chile, Brazil, Czech Republic, Estonia, Romania, China, Indonesia and Malaysia. The study should be completed within seven months.
