CORDIS on the road again
Following the success of the first tour in January and February 1998, a second CORDIS European Tour has been organised in September and October 1998, bringing a mobile demonstration of the full range of CORDIS services directly to a new audience. This time focusing on southern EU Member States, the tour kicks off in Austria, before travelling south through Italy to Greece, where it will stop in Patras (10 September), Athens (11 September), Thessaloniki (14 September), before returning to Italy: Bari (17 September), and Turin (21 September). On leaving Italy, the tour will then take in Spain and Portugal: Bilbao (24 September), A Coruña (28 September), Lisbon (30 September), Madrid (2 October), Valencia (5 October), and Barcelona (6 October). The CORDIS tour uses a specially fitted-out vehicle equipped with four terminals with full access to CORDIS services. Experienced CORDIS staff will be on-hand to demonstrate the services, answer questions on all aspects of the service, and offer training and advice on getting the most from CORDIS.
