The European Commission, DG VI, has published an invitation to tender on promoting the use of line flax. The services required will involve an advertising agency and an institute to perform evaluations, in order to participate in a campaign to encourage the use of line flax in the EU and the US. The campaign should aim at maintaining the level of quality fibre flax produced in the European Community and to strengthen its position on the market. The advertising action will support other promotional activities by sufficient advertising in the main professional magazines, in line with participation in textile exhibitions and public relations activities for the distributors.
