Amendments to the Statutes of the Joint European Torus Joint Undertaking
The Council of Ministers of the European Union has published its Decision of 7 May 1996 approving amendments to the Statutes of the Joint European Torus (JET) Joint Undertaking. The amendments take account of the accession to the EU of Finland and Sweden, with the Technology Development Centre of Finland (Tekes) and the Kingdom of Sweden becoming members of the Joint Undertaking. The amendments also extend the JET Joint Undertaking until 31 December 1999. These amendments came into force on 15 May 1996.
