Export opportunities for EU companies in digital communications
The European Commission, DG XIII, has launched a call to tender for a study on the international market for European digital communications and the export opportunities for EU companies. The study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the worldwide introduction and deployment of European digital mobile technologies and services, to assess further opportunities for their export, to describe which restrictions to European firms exist and how these can be lifted, and to provide recommendations as to how European industry, regulatory authorities and the Commission could assist in the worldwide promotion of European digital mobile technologies and services in order to ensure effective access to third country markets. The study should be completed within six months.
