The European Commission has published an updated list of the implementation status of PHARE programmes, as of 31 August 1996. The list contains details of all programmes approved by the Commission in the framework of the PHARE programme for technical assistance to the associated countries of Central and Eastern Europe. The programmes include both individual country programmes for each of the PHARE partner countries, and the multi-country programmes. In particular, the list shows the total budget for each programme, and the remaining funding available for contractual opportunities. The list provides an indication to contractors of potential opportunities likely to be offered for tender in the next few months. Details of these tenders will be published in the Official Journal of the European Communities (for supply and work contracts) and on the Europa World Wide Web server (for service contracts). Tender information will also be available from the network of Euro-Info Centres in the Member States.
