Overview of EU research programmes and related activities
"EU Research programmes and related activities", the twelfth CORDIS focus Supplement, has recently been published. It provides an overview of EU programmes, initiatives and other activities of interest to European researchers. The Fourth RTD Framework Programme is the most identifiable Community activity in the area of research and development. However, the Community also supports research activities or contributes to research efforts through a wide variety of other programmes and initiatives. The aim of the CORDIS focus supplement is to give a brief summary of each of these programmes and initiatives, presenting readers with a full picture of the range of Community activities relating to research and development. In total, almost 120 programmes and initiatives, either on-going or planned, are included in the supplement. Each programme entry includes a brief summary of the aims, objectives and activities of the programme and contacts for further information.
