The European Committee for Standardization (CEN) has published a call for experts to work on projects within its cultural work programme. The work programme covers some 22 areas relating to character set technology, of which experts are sought in the following ten fields: - European keyboards; - Guide to the use of character sets; - Character conversion model; - Character conversion - fallback rules; - Character conversion method - ISO/IEC 2022; - Character conversion method - based on UTF mnemonic; - European matching rules (scoping); - European specific requirements; - Scope for European regulatory requirements; - European ordering rules (EES). Applications to work in any of these areas may be submitted by CEN and ISO members or by any other organization with expertise in the field.
