Paper recyclability - COST Action
The European Commission, DG XII, has published an activity report carried out for the midterm evaluation of COST Action E1 on Paper recyclability. The objective of this action is to encourage cooperation in research and development on the subjects of recyclability and waste paper processing at European level, in order to obtain optimal environmental wastepaper scenarios. The report presents a summary of activities, present and future, carried out in the frame of the action, since the signature of the Memorandum of Understanding in February 1994. The report also considers the following aspects: - Objectives and achievement of objectives; - Coordination aspects; - Management and internal structure; - Implementation and progress; - Dissemination of information and results; - Benefits and added value aspects; - Involvement by participants.
