Evaluation of Third Multiannual programme for SMEs
The European Commission, DG XXIII, has published an invitation to tender concerning the preparation and completion of an evaluation report on the EU's Third Multiannual programme for SMEs. The programme was adopted in December 1996, and runs from 1997 until 2000. The evaluation report will be presented by the Commission to the Council, Parliament, Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions. It will serve as a basis for discussions on any fourth programme or other successor initiative, for which proposals could be presented by December 1999. The final evaluation report should be delivered by 31 March 1999 at the latest.
