This is the final report for the ALFA-BIRD project which received funding under the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) to investigate and develop a variety of alternative fuels for the use of in aeronautics. It was motivated by the need to ensure a sustainable growth of the civil aviation, considering the impact of fossil fuels on climate change as well as the oil prices that are highly volatile and increasing in the long term.

This presentation includes the objectives, organization and goals of the ALFA-BIRD project. It was a presentation prepared with the aim to attract the attention of companies potentially interested in the project and its scope. It was therefore part of the general dissemination strategy.
