Type Details: University of Belgrade Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, Department for Vehicle Fleet Operation and Maintenance is an institution that besides educational function works on projects related to transport and traffic. Department is professionally active in research and innovation related to the development of:
- Assets Management,

- Transport Economy.
During last few years Department has had good cooperation with Directorate for Public Transport in Belgrade. One of the projects that Department has worked in cooperation with Directorate was about sustainable public transport in Belgrade. In order to increase and exchange knowledge and broaden experience Department is interested in participating in E.U. project.
Some of the projects that our Department has done during last few years:
- Development of Fleet Management System with the aim of Reducing CO2 Emission, Project No. 15026, financed by the Ministry for Science and Technological Development of Serbia, Institute of the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, Belgrade, Serbia (2008-ongoing)
- Cost Model Development for the Transport Cost Calculation within the Bus Public Transport in Belgrade, Institute of the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, Belgrade, Serbia (2007-2008)
- Management Process Development within the Public Transport System in Belgrade, Institute of the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, Belgrade, Serbia, (2007-2008)
- Development and Implementation of the Energy Efficiency Monitoring System for Vehicle Fleets, Energy Efficiency Project 293001, financed by the Ministry for Science and environmental protection of Serbia, Institute of the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering.

Expertise:Department is interested in participating in a project call titled FP7-Sustainable surface transport (SST)-2010-RTD-1, call identifier: FP7-TPT-2010-RTD-1, Area 7.2.7. The European green cars initiative, Topic GC.SST.2010.7-6. Implementing Public-Private Partnership in the European green cars initiative.
We are also interested in participating in project call titled FP7-Transport (TPT)-2010-RTD-1 call identifier: FP7-TPT-2010-RTD-1, 7.3.
