Call for tenders: SMEs in energy research projects
[Date: 2007-07-09]
The European Commission's Research DG has published a call for tenders for a study on the role and impact of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in energy research framework programme projects.
The contractor will investigate the actual role and impact (on the projects and on the firms themselves) of SME participation in energy-related projects, as well as their initial motivation and their path to success in entering research consortia.
The contractor will also investigate the issue of non-participation of SMEs, assess the barriers to participation, and the potential for larger SME potential.
