Support to mutual learning and cooperation in research policy making, Brussels

An information session on the call for proposals FP6-RTD-OMC-NET 'Support to mutual learning and cooperation in research policy making' will take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 2 December.
Organised by the European Commission, the session will provide participants with the opportunity to make a short presentation of project ideas with the aim of finding possible partners.
The call aims at improving the effectiveness and coherence of research policies at European, national and regional levels by supporting mutual learning and cooperation. The call targets national and regional authorities involved in the formulation of research policy and may involve, where appropriate, other relevant stakeholders (including industry, university and civil society organisations).
The outcomes expected from the funded actions are: identification of good practices and of conditions for transferability, development of concerted or joint policy initiatives, and identification of Community initiatives that could reinforce actions at Member State level. The activities supported shall cover activities such as studies, conferences, peer-reviews, exchange of experience and personnel, etc.
