International Symposium on Reliability of Optoelectronics for Space, Cagliari, Italy

The first International Symposium on Reliability of Optoelectronics for Space (ISROS) and a joint thematic day on Radiation Effects on Optoelectronics (OPTORAD) will take place from 11 to 15 May in Cagliari, Italy.
The aim of this symposium is to give an opportunity to engineers and researchers that would like to present, in an informal framework, their ongoing work in the fields of qualification, evaluation, reliability assessment and failure analysis on optoelectronic devices for space applications.
The European Space Agency (ESA), Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales (CNES), Agenzia Spaziale Italiana (ASI), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Thales Alenia Space and the aerospace subsidiary of the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS), Astrium, will actively participate in this event. Other space agencies and actors from the industry are preparing their contributions for the symposium.
