'International congress on safety of engineered nanoparticles and nanotechnologies', Helsinki, Finland

The 'International congress on safety of engineered nanoparticles and nanotechnologies' will take place from 28 to 31 October 2012 in Helsinki, Finland.

The event will highlight the safety of engineered nanomaterials and nano-related technologies, as well as safety challenges that are faced in engineered nanomaterials and nanotechnologies. Detection methods, tools, safer production processes and improving the understanding of the biological basis of nano safety will also be on the agenda.

The event will bring together researchers in occupational safety and health in toxicology, material sciences and measurement technologies to discuss findings, methods, tools, and approaches to safety and health at workplaces using nanoparticles and nanotechnologies.
