'Researchers' Night 2012'

With events all across Europe, the 2012 edition of the European Researchers' Night will take place on 28 September.
Bringing together researchers and the broader public, the event's main objective is to showcase scientists and science in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. European citizens will be given the opportunity to discover research facilities that are usually not open to the public (laboratories, research centres, museum collections, etc.), use the most recent technologies and instruments under the guidance of scientists, participate in experiments, competitions and quizzes, watch demonstrations and simulations, exchange ideas and party with the researchers.
One of the main messages of Researchers' Night is that researchers are "ordinary people with an extraordinary job".
