Development and distribution of European audiovisual works
The European Commission, DG X, has published a call for proposals within the MEDIA II programme (1996-2000) which aims at encouraging the development and distribution of European audiovisual works. The call for proposals is intended for European companies producing animated works whose activities contribute to the attainment of the objectives of the programme, in particular the promotion of the development of production projects which are aimed at European markets. Prospective applicants for support under the MEDIA II programme should obtain the "Guidelines for the submission of proposals to obtain financial support" from the Commission.
