Dutch provinces of the Randstad get new CORDIS regional services
The latest regional services to be launched on CORDIS are for the provinces which make up the Randstad in the western Netherlands. This region, which contains the four major Dutch cities - Amsterdam, the Hague, Rotterdam and Utrecht - brings together the provinces of North Holland, South Holland, Utrecht and Flevoland. The new CORDIS services are designed, in common with other CORDIS regions services, to provide information on research and innovation activities specific to these provinces. Different sections look at the provinces' research strengths and at the infrastructure in place in the region, in terms of research centres, major companies and support services. A spotlight section highlights research achievements in each province, focusing on local companies and research centres.
