The French Institut National de l'Audiovisuel (National Audiovisual Institute) has produced a guide on "Where to get multimedia training in Europe". The guide, which has been produced with support from the Community's MEDIA programme, presents a whole range of multimedia training courses currently on offer in Europe. The guide is intended to assist future professionals in multimedia in choosing the training course most suitable for them. At a boom time for this market, particularly with the development of networks, increase in demand for training has been matched by a similar increase in supply, with training courses on offer almost doubling in number between 1995 and 1996. Young people who wish to become involved in the world of multimedia must now choose from among a very extensive range of courses on offer, reflecting the diversity of technical, artistic and management skills required. Another service offered by INA is the "Job and In-Company Training Course Exchange" on Internet, which should enable young multimedia graduates, as well as professionals already involved in this sector, to gain access to a large number of job offers in Europe.
