The European Commission, DG VII and DG XIII, has published a joint call for proposals under the Transport and Telematics Applications programmes for RTD projects in the field of transport intermodality. Eligible entities are invited to submit proposals for research activities in the following areas, as set out in the Work Programmes of the two programmes: - Transport programme: . Area 10 - Transport intermodality; - Telematics Applications programme: . Telematics services for travellers (Tasks TR1.1 to TR1.8); . Telematics services for freight operations (Tasks TR2.2 to TR2.7); . Telematics for fleet operations (Task TR4.2). Some Community financial support may be available to facilitate the participation of organizations from Central and Eastern European countries and from the European countries of the former Soviet Union.
