Abstract: GEANT provides state-of-the-art European international data connectivity for the research and education community. Table below compares the development of individual international (trunk) circuits at the beginning and end of the project. A significant increase in bandwidth over the course of four and a half years is demonstrated clearly, both in terms of total bandwidth available (over 50%) and of average bandwidth (around 70%).
