European Venture Capital Association
(EVCA) and with the support of DG Enterprise/D and DG Enterprise of the European Commission. Today the EASD represent a total of 146 investment bankers and market professionals from 17 countries.
The EASD was created to study, advise on and promote the creation and organisation of European securities markets for securities issued by growth enterprises. This includes:
Promoting the development of EASDAQ and the development of national and regional European securities markets
Promoting a more favourable legal, tax and regulatory environment for these markets through policy recommendations at national and European level
Providing a forum for every participant in the securities business interested in growth enterprises through the organisation and development of information, training, networking and other services.
New Stock Markets for High Growth, Innovative Companies such as EASDAQ and EuroNM find their origins in these initiatives.
