Important Notice

Different versions of ELECTRA exist for each of the four different measures supported:

• RTD projects (RTD ELECTRA)
• Accompanying measures (AM ELECTRA)
• Take-up actions (TU ELECTRA - IST Programme only)
• Concerted actions / Thematic networks (CA/TN ELECTRA)

ELECTRA must be used together with the notes accompanying the relevant Contract Preparation Forms. A Read Me file has also been produced which contractors should consult before launching the application.

ELECTRA is an Excel application intended as an aid to Coordinators in capturing the project information on the Contract Preparation Forms (CPF).

There are two separate functions:

1) Maintenance functions which allow the user to reconfigure the set of forms as circumstances change.

2) Creation of spreadsheets that can be completed in a standalone manner and printed off as the completed set of Contract Preparation Forms.

Consequently they can be used in two ways, either as a tool in the negotiations, or as an explicit one off statement of the results of the negotiations. It is strongly recommended that ELECTRA be used in the first role.

The system requires Microsoft Office 97 with Excel 97 installed and Visual Basic Macros enabled. 64 to 128 Mb RAM recommended.
