Preparation and Adoption In August 1996, CORDIS launched the Fifth Framework Focus service to provide timely and comprehensive coverage of the preparation and adoption of the Fifth Framework Programme. The service contains a wealth of information, preparatory texts and opinions from the European Union institutions, as well as the positions of Member States and many pan-European bodies active in the research sector. Much of the information on the site remains relevant to organisations currently preparing to participate in the Fifth Framework Programme. Examples include the specific programme proposals, details of new management approaches, and a library of speeches and other news items outlining the Commission's thinking. |
