Objectives
-
to promote a fuller and shared understanding of the 6th Framework Programme, the new opportunities it presents, the new instruments and their implementation in practice
-
to provide a forum where those with an interest in participating in the topical area "Cellular and Molecular Biology Research on the Effects of Low and Protracted Doses" can inform others of their interests, capabilities and potential contribution they could make in achieving the programme objectives
Content
- a presentation by the Commission of the relevant instruments (Integrated Projects), the contractual matters, and the scope and objectives of the topical area
- informal presentations by those present of their interests and capabilities in addressing the objectives of the topical area "Cellular and Molecular Biology Research on the Effects of Low and Protracted Doses"
- a question and answer session to clarify questions raised in advance or on the day
- general discussion moderated by the Commission Services
Role of the Commission
- making the practical arrangements for the meeting
- moderating discussions among the participants
- responding to and clarifying questions on the new instruments and their practical application
- responding to and clarifying questions on the scope and content of the work programme in the topical area "Cellular and Molecular Biology Research on the Effects of Low and Protracted Doses"
