General Information

Dates and venue

The conference will be held from Monday 13 March to Wednesday 15 March 2006 followed by a number of post-FISA workshops on Thursday 16 March 2006.

Place: European Commission, Jean Monnet Building (JMO), rue A. Wehrer, Kirchberg, Luxembourg.

Bus number 16 runs from Luxembourg Airport to the Jean Monnet Building on Kirchberg. It continues to Luxembourg city centre and the central railway station. Arrival is also possible from Frankfurt-Hahn Airport (low-cost airlines). From there a bus runs to Luxembourg Railway Station in 1 hour 45 min.

 

  FISA 2006

Registration

Participation in this conference is free of charge. Persons wishing to attend are invited to register by filling in the appropriate electronic form and submit it before 15 February 2006.

A reception and registration office located in the lobby of meeting room M6 will be opened during the conference from 8:00 to 18:00.

Accommodation

Participants wishing to reserve a hotel room are requested to fill in and submit the appropriate electronic form before 15 February 2006. After this date, no reservation can be guaranteed. Rooms will be booked according to availability on a first-come first-served basis.

Bus service

During the FISA 2006 conference, a special free-of-charge bus service from the hotels (booked via Luxembourg Convention Bureau) to the Jean Monnet Building will be organised for participants. Details of route and timetable can be requested at the hotels.

Working language and working document

The working language will be English. A preprint of the presentations will be available for participants at the opening of the conference.

Social event

On Tuesday evening (14 March 2006) at 20:00, a dinner will be offered to the participants by the European Commission.
