FP7 ICT Call 6
On 24th November 2009, the European Commission launched ICT Call 6 of the 7th Framework Programme. It will close on 13th April 2010. The indicative budget for Objective 2.1 (Cognitive Systems and Robotics) in Call 6 is €80 million. For more information on the Call and to submit a proposal, please consult the official Call website.
Proposers have the chance of sending a pre-proposal to the Commission for a first opinion. To do so, please fill in the pre-proposal form (58KB) and send it to: infso-challenge-2-1@ec.europa.eu. The description of the proposed work should be 2-3 pages long.
The Call for Proposals
The Call focuses on specific targets as outlined in the current ICT Work Programme 2009:
STREPs (min 23.4 M € – max 39 M €):
- New approaches towards artificial cognitive systems (STREP) (target a)
IPs (min 39 M € – max 54.6 M €):
- New Complete Robotic Systems (IP) (target c)
- Cross-fertilization between academic and industrial research efforts in robotics (IP) (target e)
CAs (max 2 M €):
- Fostering an artificial cognitive systems research community in Europe (CA) (target h)
