Technologies for Information Management

The mission is to contribute to the Lisbon Strategy of making Europe the most competitive knowledge-based economy.The primary objective under 'Technologies for Information Management' is to co-fund research and development projects on innovative ICT technologies dealing with:

  1. creation of intelligent digital objects and knowledge management,
  2. supporting knowledge exchange and
  3. 'semantic web'.

The focus is on issues and activities which deal with more effective and efficient management of extremely large scale data.

1. FP7 ICT Work Programme 2013

Our activities in the FP7 ICT Work Programme 2013 are focused on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), Challenge 4: Technologies for Digital Content and Languages. There are three objectives in Challenge 4, of which the following two are related to Intelligent Information Management:

Objective 4.3: SME initiative on analytics (Call FP7-ICT-2013-SME-DCA)

The Call FP7-ICT-2013-SME-DCA closed on 16 January 2013. For detailed information about Objective ICT-2013.4.3 – SME initiative on analytics, see the dedicated page.

Objective 4.2: Scalable data analytics (Call FP7-ICT-2013-11)

The Objective is part of Call FP7-ICT-2013-11 which is open and will close on 16 April 2013, 17h00. For further information about Objective ICT-2013.4.2 – Scalable data analytics, see the dedicated page.

2. CIP ICT PSP Work Programme 2013

Objective 2.2: Open Data (CIP-ICT-PSP-2013-Call 7)

Our activities in the CIP ICT PSP Work programme 2013 are focused on Objective 2.2: Open Data. The objective is part of the Call CIP-ICT-PSP-2013-7 which is open and will close on 14 May 2013, 17h00. For further information about Objective 2.2: Open Data, see the dedicated page.
