FET Proactive - FP7 Call 4 Workshop
QI-FT: Quantum Information Foundations & Technologies
Budapest, 21 January 2009
Presentations given at the workshop are online.
Following the publication of the work programme 09-10 for the call on QI-FT,
the topics for this workshop should focus on research involving Quantum
Information Foundations & Technologies and will address issues such as,
for example,
- Quantum information theory and paradigms
- Entanglement-enabled quantum technologies
- Scalability of quantum processing systems
- Long distance quantum communication
- The aim of the workshop is to elaborate on a shared understanding of visions and opportunities related to future QI-FT research for 2009-2010 by taking a
fresh view beyond ongoing research. For this purpose speakers will be invited to present their own ideas on the research challenges related to the area. The
meeting will be open for anybody interested and ample room for discussion will be provided. -
